Keerthy Suresh is an Indian actor born on October 17, 1992. Her films are mainly produced in Tamil or Telugu, but she also appears in a few Malayalam ones. The year she was born, she received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her performance as the character Savitri. She also won a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter of film producer G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her first acting experience began at the beginning of 2000. She had her first lead role in the 2013 Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). The first film she acted in outside Malayalam was the romantic comedy Idhu Maayam (2015) which she acted in with Vikram Prabhu. The film didn't do well in the theater. Her first film, A. L. Vijay's romance comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015 alongside Vikram Prbhu. The film was not an immediate success in the box office. In order to accommodate bigger projects because of her busy schedule, she had opted out of some films, which she then began working on. The films included were Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. She consequently made two films in collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan quickly, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the leading role on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari and Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. Though the release date for Janakitho Nenu is not yet set, reports suggest that it could release sometime in September of 2020. The debut film is Nenu Sailaja in the year 2016 with the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa alongside Vijay and directed by Bharathan.
