Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born on the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey was the oldest child of four. At a young age, both her dental surgeon parents and her teacher mom supported her love of theater and drama. It was this love that overshadowed her initial wish to become a an animal scientist. There was an immediate rise for her to be an internationally renowned young actor. It was only at the age of 1999 after which she began acting professionally. In the years following her studies, Tautou participated in the French TV show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was educated at Institut Catholique de Paris, was a churchgoer as a young girl and was raised Catholic. But she has since gotten away from this background. Along with her acting career she also pursued a modelling career. Also, she is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. A keen photographer, she created a show during the Arles International Festival that was titled Superficial. Her work is focused on celebrities and the fame. It also features a series self-portraits and a special focus on journalists who have been watching Tautou's career since her dramatic success following Amelie. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and acclaim with her big part in the film Le Fabuleux in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie gained international attention for its box office success. It was also praised at awards ceremonies across the globe. The film is still the highest-grossing French language movie on the market in US. The film's success has led to Tautou being cast in a range of roles, ranging from British dramas such as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
